The Announcement of PlayStation Suite


Sonny Computer Entertainment or called as the SCE has announced the launch of PlayStation Suite. It is a hardware-neutral of game framework with the purpose of delivering the experience of PlayStation onto Android tablet and phone. To do so, SCE starts PlayStation Certified, license programs in order to “ensure that PlayStation delivers high quality experiences across various types of devices”. This soon will be able to be accessing on the new PlayStation Store. For convenient purpose, it will be filled with original PlayStation classic. A new game development environment that enable PS One classic to create content to the PlayStation Suite will also be provided.

This new PlayStation Suite is planned to be delivered “within this calendar year”. SCE has announced that in order to experience it, the Android operating system that is needed is at the very least Android 2.3. SCE also stated that the further detail about it will be revealed by next month at Congress of Mobile World. The first devices that are able to have PlayStation Certified would be Sony Ericcson Xperia Play. The devices will be able to be found in the PlayStation Store. It is worth to wait when the details is being revealed by next month, especially for those who are PlayStation lovers.
