The Changes That Android 3.0 Honeycomb Bring On 2011


Nowadays, Android has become a hot topic that many people are discussing around the world. It is a mobile operating system (OS) that is developed by modifying Linux Kernel’s version. Since 2008, it has launched several updates including Android 1.0, Cupcake (1.5), Donut (1.6), Éclair (2.0 / 2.1), 2.0.1 SDK, 2.1 SDK, Froyo (2.2), Gingerbread (2.3), and the latest one will be released on January 26th 2011; Android 3.0 Honeycomb.

Android 3.0 Honeycomb will bring some changes in order to deliver a better performance. The changes are including; first, the optimization of tablet support with a new user interface. Second, it comes with three dimensional desktop and also widgets that is being re-designed. Third, it comes with a new refined multi-tasking. Fourth, its browser is enhanced with tabbed web pages, form auto-fill, bookmark syncing, and private browsing. Fifth, it is able to be used for video chat using Google Talk. Sixth, it comes with hardware acceleration. And seventh, it is also able in supporting multi-core processors.

Its software stack is consisting of Java applications such as Java-based, Object-Oriented Application Framework, Java Core Libraries, and more. Those are the changes that will be able to be enjoyed by all Android users when this Android 3.0 Honeycomb is being released on 2011.
