HTC
release new model for their latest mobile phone, the name is HTC ChaCha. The release is still
unknown; maybe it will be released a month later. Although the release is still
unknown, but due to the handset’s name, look like the name itself has cause
some issues. One of the companies that have the same name just like this mobile
phone has already sent complaint letter about this. ChaCha inc., the company
who run their business in human powered search engine has the same name just
like this mobile phone series.
According
to some experts in law, U.S.
patents and trademarks will only valid within the U.S, this policy will not be
valid outside the U.S. According to some source, HTC ChaCha is going to be launched this
year. The release date is still unknown, but this mobile phone will be released
this year.
Another
issue with HTC ChaCha is that the ChaCha name has already registered by HTC
Spain in their twitter account. In Spain
this mobile phone will be called ChaChaCha, the name itself in spain
has similar meaning with servant, maid or nanny. HTC Company should think good
marketing strategy about these issues before HTC ChaCha will be released.
