HW and 32 Other Companies Place Lawsuits against HTC


Fresh news from the oven everyone! Again, the HTC Company that based in Taiwan is again being sued by another company which defines for HW Technology. Apparently, HW isn’t the only company that places the Patent Lawsuit Mania because there are other 32 companies that place the same lawsuit. They are: Limited, Samsung Telecommunications America, Motorola Mobility, Kyocera Communications, Kyocera America, HTC Corp, Buy.com. Motorola Solutions, eBay, Research in Motion, Apple, Orbitz, HTC America, Research in Motion Corp, Amazon Payments Inc, Google, Nokia Inc, Amazon.com, LG USA, LG, Inc, Kyocera International, Kayak.com, Priceline.com, Hotels.com, Kyocera Corp,
Expedia, Microsoft, Sony Ericsson Mobile, Samsung, Nokia Corp, Sony Ericsson USA, Samsung America and Verizon. So what is it all about? Well, it’s about the patent number 955 which defines for “IP or internet protocol phone with advertising and searching capability.

And what the companies are looking for? The answer is all about the money. Precisely, the HW places lawsuit claiming that HW deserves to get compensation for punitive damage. According to HW, the HTC is violating their patent. Among all the 33 companies including the HW, all the companies are hoping that one of the lawsuits will get a solution since all of the lawsuits now seem to have no way out. What will happen? Guess, we just need to wait and see if something happens.
