For
the owners of HTC HD7 smart mobile phone the most common problem or complain
that is often received is that they do not get a notification when they should
update the operating system. The problem is not necessarily with the mobile
phone but with the way how Windows operating system works. To update the
operating system itself it has to be done through Windows’ very own Zune
application which always installed in every Windows 7 mobile phones by default.
Speaking
of updating the software, there is a trick that can be done in order to be able
to get the notification and eventually update the operating system. Here are a
few steps that should be followed and done:
1.
First
of all the airplane mode needs turning on while the WiFi is to be turned off.
2.
Connect
the phone to the computer to run Zune application.
3.
Go
to the phone settings and find the update button to click when ready.
4.
As
soon as the update button is clicked, the computer has to immediately be
disconnected from the internet connection.
5.
If
done properly, Zune will make the update available.
6.
Lastly,
connect the computer back with the Internet and click the update button on
Zune.
