HTC Desire Is Ready for Gingerbread Update

HTC has been quite famous among smartphone users lately. The company has managed to produce great products that are quite amazing and helpful. Now the brand has been one of the many great and famous cell phone manufacturers in the world. The last production from the company is the Desire HD, running with Android 2.2 operating system. The company has stated that the device will be available for update to Gingerbread platform with Android 2.3 OS, but there hasn’t been any news about it since the product was launched. However, everything seems to change now because the company has announced their readiness and availability to update the device in Europe.

However, so far, the original plan from the company has stated that the update will be available somewhere in Spring time, with no exact time frame. But an SFR French carrier has announced that the released plan may come earlier than expected, around the middle of April. Although the release may come earlier or delayed, or it may stay on the track, or it may have different impact on other regions, the launching plan is definitely good news for people who have been waiting for quite some time. It seems that everyone just has to wait and see.
